Minis Round 8 - Changes

Good Day Folks

Saturday was a great day played in the rain and cold: Hope you all dried out nicely after Saturday's 'G'day Winter - you finally arrived Round!'

Now, I have a huge change to to announce for this weekend Round 8.

Menai and Oatley have been happy to swap rounds so as to accommodate potential issues down the track with Friday night availability of teams, the Queens Long Weekend Reps focus and the impending July School Holidays.

Attached are the accepted changes - it has this weeks Round 8 change and the change to the schedule for the next 5 weeks.

• The BIGGEST CHANGE is that we are going to OATLEY this Saturday morning. We are NOT going to Menai this Friday night.
• Check the 'kick off times' and field allocations: Oatley allows us to play a 2 field set up this weekend. BUT our u6's and u7's kick off 30 minutes earlier than normal i.e. an 08h30 kick off for some!
• This now means the Queen's Long Weekend is a minis free weekend. NO MINIS RUGBY
• We return to Round s 9 and 10 in June at Rockdale and Burraneer - as per normal.
• Round 11 is now at Menai on Friday Night - 01 July 2016.
• This ensures we do not have missing coaches, players etc because of the reps weekend / Queens Long Weekend.

I hope you understand this change - I am chuffed that both Menai and Oatley accepted and enthusiastically supported the change.

It works for all of us.
