Mini News Minis Under 9's win Marist 7's Well done boys, Great to see so many ecstatic faces. A well deserved reward for a day when you were all awarded the under 9’s champions of the Marist 7’s for 2008! Game 1 V’s Epping; 20 - 20 Game 2 V’s Beecroft; Won 50 - 10 Game 3 V’s Ryde; Won 50 - 0 Game 4 V’s Hillview; Won 15 – 10 FINAL V’s Epping; Won 35 – 15 Whilst I knew we could beat Epping on our day, we had a battered, tired team who luckily continued to encourage each other and were determined to win. Things started well with two quick tries but Epping hit back to level 10 each at the break. At halftime it was evident the boys still believed they could do it but they were starting to hit the wall. The second half was a cracker of a display. When it comes to courage and determination no side matches our boys. There was not one passenger on the field, each boy played out of his skin.
